Management Transition Under Way at SpineMark Corporation

SpineMark has announced that Marcy Rogers has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer of SpineMark Corporation effective Monday, August 9.  SpineMark's Board of Directors initiated the change in management as part of an overall strategic restructuring for the immediate benefit of the company and its customer base.

A "Transition Management Team" reporting directly to Stephen H. Hochschuler, M.D., a member of the SpineMark Board of Directors since 2004, will be responsible for refining SpineMark's operating structure to redirect and refocus the company towards long-term growth. In addition, the Transition Management Team will seek candidates for the Board of Directors to replace Ms. Rogers, to serve as Chief Executive Officer.

SpineMark Corporation has identified that the two overall goals of this transition are to ensure:

       1.  Customers and strategic partners receive the highest degree of service and accountability.

       2.  Future leadership implements effective processes and systems, while focusing on strategies that lead to sustainable growth.
